Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-11
In short
- No registration or login. We do not create user accounts.
- The site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or tracking scripts.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade any user data.
What we process
- Server logs. For each request: IP address, time, the URL requested (including search terms), and browser type. Used only to operate the service, prevent abuse, and enforce rate limits. Normally deleted automatically after 7 days.
- Settings in your browser. Text size, interface language, and light/dark mode are saved in your own browser (localStorage). They are never sent to our servers, and you can clear them at any time.
- Visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits, referring sites, and countries. It uses no cookies and does not track individual users.
- MCP and API. Queries sent by AI tools are used only to return results and are logged the same way as other requests. They are not linked to any identity.
Third-party services
- Cloudflare delivers and protects traffic to this site and processes connection data under its own privacy policy.
- Google Fonts serves the web fonts; your browser connects to Google's servers to load them.
- "Original document" links on case pages lead to court or government websites, whose own policies apply.
Personal information in court opinions
This site publishes opinions that courts have made public, which may include the names of parties. If you are a party to a case and believe an opinion should not appear in search-engine results, email [email protected] with the link to the opinion. We will review the request and may, for example, keep that page out of search engines. Opinions that a court has marked as restricted are never offered to search engines.
Children
This is a legal research service. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
